Visual Communication I Package Design

Objective:

Create a paper bag containing a picnic kit to celebrate the 250th birthday of USA. Each designer creates two patterns and contributes them to the group pattern library. Each designer chooses their own combination of group patterns to make wrapping papers for the picnic kit items.

Dimensions:

• (1) folded napkin. (your own pattern)
• (1) party hat. (your own pattern)
• (1) paper bag, size: 12”W x12”H x 7”D with handles. (pattern library)
• (1) large round paper plate. (pattern library)
• (1) small round paper plate. (pattern library)
• (2) origami boxes, tile paper to 17”x17” to fold the lid. (pattern library)
